For more than ten decades, the province of Ituri in the Democratic Republic of Congo has been going through internal wars caused by local and foreign armed groups, most of the victims of which are women and girls. They are subject to rapes and others carried away by the armed groups operating in this part of the country.

In view of the above, the NGO PADC (Community Development Support Program) conducts community awareness activities on VBG and say no to the trafficking of women and young girls but also training on entrepreneurships in order to make them autonomous and resilient.

Sudd Environment Agency (SEA) is an indigenous, non-profit, environmental development organization based in South Sudan. The organization prioritize advocacy, awareness raising and sensitization to ensure local communities, public and stakeholders develop guiding policies to combat climate change crisis, environmental pollution, protection and conservation of Sudd Wetlands and wildlife while supporting WASH promotion and resilience activities  

The Loita Maasai community lives in Loita Division of Narok South Sub-County in Narok County. It is one of the indigenous community that still have it's culture and Resources intact. They are proud of their indigenous Forest that has attested time and remained the only community managing the forest with minimal supervision by the state
